2024 Virtual School Social Work Conference

April 1 - May 12, 2024

SSWAA will be hosting an in-person format for our annual National Conference in 2024. SSWAA believes there is great value in gathering in person for networking and professional engagement. However, SSWAA also understands individuals, schools, and communities continue to be impacted by limited ability and funding to travel. Therefore, SSWAA is offering a virtual option for individuals who are not able to travel for the in-person event.

SSWAA will be recording pre-selected sessions during the live conference event.

Individuals who choose to register for the virtual sessions will have access to 8 pre-selected sessions (13.0 CEs).

Individuals will have access to these sessions over 6 weeks in an on-demand platform (April 1, 202; 9amEST-May 12, 2024; 11:59pmEST).

Virtual attendees will need to watch the full recorded session, complete a post-test (80% passing rate), and complete an evaluation for credit. Upon completion, individuals will be able to immediately download a certificate for their records.

Access will end on May 12, 2024 at 11:59pm EST, and virtual attendees should plan accordingly to ensure adequate time to complete all needed sessions. No extensions will be available.

**This virtual conference format is not an extension of the in-person annual conference. This virtual conference is a separate event from the in-person event, no switching from in-person event to virtual event is available. Registration for the 2024 Virtual Conference is a separate registration and is not part of the in-person conference registration.

Please note: Registrations for the Virtual Conference will be accepted until April 21, 2024. Any registrants after March 25, 2024, will be considered late registration.

Late registrants will be added to the virtual venue within two (2) business days after payment has been secured, following the April 1, 2024 start date.

Invoicing to pay by Purchase Order will no longer be accepted as of the April 1, 2024 start date. Recognizing the time constraints of the 6-week conference, and factoring in the time it takes to send payment by check/Purchase Order after April 1, 2024 will not be accepted. After April 1, 2024 start date, payment must be made at time of registration via Credit Card.

Refund Policy

Due to the format of this event, there will be no refunds offered. Since the event is a virtual event, all content will be available to registrants via recording and is not dependent upon attendance at the live event.

Virtual Conference max CE Total = 13.0 CEs

School Social Work Association of America SSWAA, #1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. School Social Work Association of America SSWAA maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 07/27/2023 – 07/27/2026. Social workers participating in this conference will receive up to 13 continuing education credits.

Please note: if your state does not accept ASWB-ACE approval, you may be unable to receive continuing education credit.

Note: Many state licensing boards impose specific limitations on course content, distance education, or other elements of continuing education, even when courses are taken from approved providers. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the courses taken will meet the requirements for your state licensure.

***Please Note: While the SSWAA 27th Annual National Conference in Baltimore, MD (March 12-15, 2024) is eligible for NYSSSWA registration and NY Attendee CEs; the 2024 Conference-Virtual Option does not provide NYSSSWA approved CE Credits.
