2025 Virtual School Social Work Conference

SSWAA will be hosting an in-person format for our annual National Conference in 2025. SSWAA believes there is great value in gathering in person for networking and professional engagement. However, SSWAA also understands individuals, schools, and communities continue to be impacted by limited ability and funding to travel. Therefore, SSWAA is offering a virtual option for individuals who are not able to travel for the in-person event.
SSWAA will be recording pre-selected sessions during the live conference event.
Individuals who choose to register for the virtual sessions will have access to 9 pre-selected sessions (13.5 CEs max).
Individuals will have access to these sessions over 5 weeks in an on-demand platform (9am EST on April 28, 2025 - 5pm EST on May 30, 2025).
Virtual attendees will need to watch the full recorded session, complete a post-test (80% passing rate), and complete an evaluation for credit. Upon completion, individuals will be able to immediately download a certificate for their records.
Access will end on May 30, 2025 at 5 pm EST, and virtual attendees should plan accordingly to ensure adequate time to complete all needed sessions. No extensions will be available.

**This virtual conference format is not an extension of the in-person annual conference. This virtual conference is a separate event from the in-person event, no registration transfer from in-person event to virtual event is available. Registration for the 2025 Virtual Conference is a separate registration and is not part of the in-person conference registration.

Please note: Registrations for the Virtual Conference will be accepted until May 16, 2025. Any registrants after April 28, 2025, will be considered late registration.

Late registrants will be added to the virtual venue within four (4) business days after payment has been secured, following the April 28, 2025 start date.

Invoicing to pay by Purchase Order will no longer be accepted as of the April 7, 2025. Recognizing the time constraints of the 5-week conference, and factoring in the time it takes to send payment by check/Purchase Order after April 7, 2025 will not be accepted. After April 7, 2025, payment must be made at time of registration via Credit Card.

Registrations will close on May 16, 2025. No further registrations will be provided after this date.
Note regarding payment: Payment is due within the registration window in order to receive that registration rate. Payment made at a later date will be subject to current registration prices. If registering with a Purchase Order, please plan in advance so that check payment is received promptly. Purchase Orders are a promise to make payment. ACE Information:

School Social Work Association of America, 1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. School Social Work Association of America maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 7/27/2023-7/27/2026.

Note: Many state licensing boards impose specific limitations on course content, distance education, or other elements of continuing education, even when courses are taken from approved providers. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the courses taken will meet the requirements for your state licensure.

***Please Note: While the SSWAA 28th Annual National Conference in Atlanta, GA (April 9-12, 2025) is eligible for NYSSSWA registration and NY Attendee CEs; the 2025 Conference-Virtual Option does not provide NYSSSWA approved CE Credits.
