Pricing for the 2024 School Social Work Summer Symposium:

SSWAA Member Rate: $220

(Basic, Full, and Premier Members)

Non-Member Rate: $280

(includes a 1-year Basic Membership to SSWAA)

Note: SSWAA offers different membership tiers (Basic, Full, and Premier). All SSWAA members enjoy the same discounted rate of $220 for the Summer Symposium. Individuals who are not members of SSWAA can register at the non-member rate, which includes 1-year Basic Membership to SSWAA.

CE Information

School Social Work Association of America SSWAA, #1789, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. School Social Work Association of America SSWAA maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 07/27/2023 – 07/27/2026. Social workers participating in this conference will receive up to 8 continuing education credits.

Note: Many state licensing boards impose specific limitations on course content, distance education, or other elements of continuing education, even when courses are taken from approved providers. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the courses taken will meet the requirements for your license.

The 2024 School Social Work Summer Symposium was held at the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird in Snowbird, UT. Stay tuned for information on the 2025 event location, coming soon!

Accommodation Options:

Nestled in the mountains outside Salt Lake City, this stunning resort will be a welcome reprieve. SSWAA has secured a discounted group rate for $199 per night, plus a discounted $15 resort fee and tax. Attendees can reserve their rooms through one of the following methods:

Phone Reservation: Call 1-800-453-3000 option #2 and mention that you are attending the SSWAA Wellness Retreat and provide the agent you are speaking with the Group Code: 2DA05X. A one-night deposit per room for room rate taxes and fees is required at the time of reservation made by phone. The final balance for the entire stay will be automatically charged to the card on file three days prior to the arrival date.
Email Reservation: Send an email to lodging@snowbird.com and identify yourself as an attendee of the SSWAA Wellness Retreat. Similar to phone reservations, a one-night deposit per room is required. The final balance will also be charged automatically to the card on file three days prior to the arrival date.
Online Reservation: For online booking convenience, attendees can use the group code 2DA05X when making reservations. Online reservations require full payment at the time of booking as a deposit. Click here to make an online reservation.
